Villanova’s Engineering Entrepreneurship Summer Institute challenges students to further develop their problem-solving and creative thinking skills while applying fundamental engineering principles. This accelerated program allows all Villanova students to earn a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship through a condensed-yet-intense summer session. 

Offered through the Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments, Mechatronics focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, telecommunications, systems, control, and product engineering.

Focused on the online learning environment, the program utilizes current and emerging technologies to meet education and training goals in higher education, K-12, business, or government.

A fully in person professional (non-credit) course, the Recovery Specialist curriculum is for individuals who are seeking the Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS) or the Certified Recovery Specialist Supervisor (CRSS) credentials.

The curriculum for this course is designed by the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) to meet the education requirements for certification in this specialty area in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania only. The Villanova instructors teaching in the program are approved trainers through the PCB.
