The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has been the intellectual heart of Villanova since the University’s founding in 1842. Villanova Education and Counseling Professors Redefine College Readiness in New Book
Villanova University’s Education and Counseling faculty Stacey Havlik, PhD, and Krista Malott, PhD, deliver a fresh approach to postsecondary preparation in their new book, School Counselor Resource Series: Skill Building for Postsecondary Success.
Villanova University, in partnership with the Global Philadelphia Association, unveiled a new mural dedicated to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. The mural was created by Maggie Hobson-Baker, MFA, assistant teaching professor in the Department of Communication and Philadelphia-based artist.
Theology Professor Empowers Students to Navigate Life’s Big Questions in New Book
In the new book, The Young Adult Playbook: Living Like It Matters, coauthors Anna B. Moreland, PhD, professor of Theology and the Anne Quinn Welsh Endowed Director of the Villanova University Honors Program and Thomas W. Smith, PhD, dive into the complex questions surrounding what makes a meaningful life.
The Center for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Stewardship will host “Local Roots: Cultivating Environmental Stewardship in Our Community,” on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center on Villanova’s campus. Presented by the Radnor Conservancy, this panel discussion invites students, faculty and staff, along with local community members, to engage and learn about environmental care and stewardship happening in the region.
