Our secondary education teacher certification program is designed to prepare candidates to not only meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education certification requirements, but to be highly qualify teachers in their selected content area. Villanova University's Secondary Teacher Education program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to prepare candidates for the 7-12 Instructional Level I Certification required to teach in Pennsylvania's public schools.
