VILLANOVA ALUMNUS JAMES C. CURVEY '57 ADDS TO GIVING LEGACY OF SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT WITH NEW $2.8 MILLION GIFT

Villanova University alumnus James C. Curvey '57 VSB, has added to his giving legacy of scholarship support, committing $2.8 million to create a scholarship for students from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire to attend the University, and provide essential programmatic support for donor-endowed scholarship programs. The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board recently announced the Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards for 2019-2020. ERIC QUISENBERRY AWARDED UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LOYALTY AWARD

On October 26 during Villanova’s Homecoming Weekend, Villanova University Alumni Association (VUAA) awarded Eric Quisenberry ’98 VSB, ’08 MBA the 2019 annual Loyalty Award for his “distinguished service to the University.” Established in 1932, this award is the oldest honor bestowed to an alumnus who has contributed his or her service to the University. On September 30, Ricaurte Vásquez Morales, PhD, CLAS '73, officially began his tenure as the Administrator of the Panama Canal at a critical time in the Canal’s history.
