The Call for Proposals has been closed. The proposals are undergoing review and funding announcements are expected by late April.
The purpose of these internal instructional grants is to support full-time Villanova faculty members in fostering advances in undergraduate and graduate teaching and learning at Villanova, implementing the University’s and Colleges’ educational goals, and exploring the use of new instructional strategies.
Note. Fifty percent of the funds available for 2021-2022 instructional grant projects will be allocated to enrich graduate courses and/or graduate programs.
Please submit the letter of support template along with your grant proposal to the Dean/department chair/academic program director at least one week prior to the deadline of 3/16, so they may review the grant project and prepare their letter of support using the templates provided below. Please refer to CFP for College contact, page 4.
To ensure the integrity of the process, the Office of the Dean and the department/academic program will submit their letters of support directly to the VITAL office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To support submission of strong projects, interested faculty members are highly encouraged to contact Dr. Gabriele Bauer via e-mail with proposal ideas before submitting a full proposal. Also consult the peer review form, former grant recipients, and members of the minigrant review committee.
You may contact a member of the Minigrant Review Committee while developing your proposal.
