Villanova currently administers a wide array of year-long and semester programs in locations worldwide. Some programs are interdisciplinary, open to all students and offer direct enrollment opportunities at overseas universities and/or language immersion. Other opportunities are more thematic and offer structured course options designed for specific majors or specialty cohorts.
Open to VSB Sophomore and Business minors - spend a semester in Urbino studying marketing, management along with Italian history, language and culture

The Villanova Honors Politics, Philosophy and Economics Program in affiliation with the Institute of Economic and Political Studies (INSTEP), offers an outstanding intellectual and social experience in a small, prestigious university town with a rich academic and historical tradition.
This semester program takes place at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and introduces students to the the many facets of life in modern Ireland.
The College of Nursing has established a year-long study abroad program with the University of Manchester in England. Students in this program spend their Sophomore year in the Nursing Department of the University of Manchester. The courses transfer to Villanova as the Sophomore year of the nursing curriculum and no time is lost in the four year course of studies.

Study modern Italian society and culture through contemporary coursework in one of two exciting academic tracks; BCIC (Business and Culture in the Italian Context) or CoSMIC (Communication, Society and Marketing in the Italian Context)
The WFI Internship at the Vatican has allowed students interested in public relations, journalism, and media production to assist Vatican-related offices with social media outreach and other tasks, seeing firsthand how people from vastly different backgrounds and cultures are united by words that capture shared beliefs.
Villanova's Computing Sciences department has a special agreement with the Vatican and UN in Rome to provide student interns who will enhance the Vatican's presence on the World Wide Web.
The Villanova Sumer Programs are offered throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. Programs run from 6-10 weeks over the summer months. Villanova Summer Programs are directed by Villanova University Faculty Program Coordinators (FPC) from all academic disciplines and departments. Instruction is offered by Villanova Faculty Program Coordinators as well as faculty members associated with the host institution.

Students, using Italy as the backdrop for design and devotion, will fully explore Tuscany within the context of architecturally significant structures and the life of St. Augustine.
Students will study and intern in Singapore.
Students will participate in their choice of academic courses overseas and to gain an international perspective on global business activities. Students from all four Villanova University colleges are encouraged to apply.
Students will have the unique opportunity to increase their knowledge and understanding of French language and culture, and also pursue Sustainability Studies in the French context.
Open to all majors! Students participate in a VU-taught, three-credit business course and a 6-week three-credit professional internship. Upon completion, students enroll in a 3-credit course at London School of Economics and Political Science (9-credits total).
Students will be introduced to Ireland's history, literature, society and archaeology through a 10-day Orientation in Dublin, Galway, and on the Aran Islands, and five weeks of courses at the National University of Ireland, Galway Summer School in Irish Studies.
From the studio to the stage, students will study the workings and history of Ireland's world-class national theatre while developing their own theatre skills, knowledge, and practice. Students from Villanova will work alongside students from Irish and other universities and be taught by practitioners and professors from the U.S. and Ireland. Student work will culminate in a showing of final work on the Abbey Theatre’s Peacock stage.
The Learning Communities Abroad Program (LCA) provides students the unique opportunity to complement their classroom learning through an 8-week, 6-credit program. Work placements will be based on students’ academic and personal interests.
Students will study politics, culture and society, and the relationship between political oppression and rebellion (on one hand) and literature and art (on the other).
Students will gain important insights into the roots of the discipline and make contemporary applications through hands-on experience in Greece.
Students will increase their proficiency in Spanish and be introduced to Indigenous Sustainability.

Here is an opportunity to experience Korea, the Land of Morning Calm, and take courses at Korea University in Seoul to earn 6-credits in 6-weeks.
Villanova offers short term overseas study opportunities that are an intensive course offering taught within an a 2-3 week travel period. All courses are led by Villanova faculty members. Some programs may include on-campus study prior to departure.
