Schedule an Appointment

Until further notice, all appointments will occur remotely via Zoom, a video conferencing tool.

Prior to their scheduled appointment, students will be emailed instructions on how to use Zoom along with an access link for their appointment. Students do not need to have Zoom previously installed; the only requirement is a device with internet access.

Appointment scheduling is available to students who have already completed a First Step Information Session.  See below for further details.

First Step Information Session

All students are required to register for and attend the first step information session.  Once you complete this first step requirement, you can schedule an appointment with an OEA advisor to discuss your individual study abroad interests, program options and questions.

Attendance at an information session is required before an appointment with a study abroad advisor can be scheduled.

Next Steps after the Information Session

After your First Step Information Session, be sure to complete an Advising Application in Passport Villanova.

  • To login, visit or click the Advising Application link above
  • Select, "I have a user name and password" and then use your VU user name and password to access the system.
  • Once logged in, complete the "Study Abroad Interest Form" and carefully review and mark the required readings as '"read".

EDUCATION ABROAD: Schedule by Major

If you're still unsure about your specific study abroad intentions or interests, please schedule an appointment based on your major.  OEA advisors will help you review your individual academic plan (CAPP) and discuss your College's course requirements and limitations.  Your advisor will also provide guidance on what program options and course offerings might be a strong fit for you given your academic, personal and geographic needs and interets.

EDUCATION ABROAD: Schedule by Program Type

If you've selected a study abroad program, schedule an appointment with an OEA advisor to begin the application process and paperwork.  Your advisor will outline your next steps and answer any questions you may have about your program in particular or about studying abroad in general.
