Writing and Rhetoric

Writing and Rhetoric at Villanova is an interdisciplinary program allowing students to pursue study in writing and communication in a focused and comprehensive way—examining the theoretical, historical and philosophical aspects of these disciplines.

DID YOU KNOW?

Students in the program choose from professional, skills-based writing courses such as media and web writing, advanced expository writing, journalistic and short story writing, as well as theoretical courses such as rhetoric and public discourse, media criticism, literary criticism, intercultural communication and the American short story.
