RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES

Study Abroad

Studying Abroad is an important and integral part for student's educational experience. It allows you to have an immersive experience in the culture you are studying, thus enriching your education. We strongly encourage all students majoring in a GIS specialization to participate in a program through the Office of Education Abroad.

For each major, the Office of Education Abroad has a Major Advising Page, designed to motivate students to frame their study abroad experience from an academic perspective.

GIS Travel Assistance Fund

This need-based scholarship is awarded to GIS majors for a study abroad program. The fund is principally supported through the Shea Family Endowed Fund.

Student Groups

There are many cultural and identity-based student organizations on campus to share and experience community with others.
