SUSTAINABILITY VIDEO CHALLENGE

The Office of Sustainability, in collaboration with the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Falvey Library, presents the 2022 Sustainability Video Challenge. Villanova has a deep commitment to sustainability. However, during the pandemic, single-use plastics and mask litter has increased, and recycling on campus has decreased. Encourage students to help reignite the commitment to our campus and earth by making a video to promote sustainability on Villanova’s campus, just in time for Villanova’s Earth Week Celebration. This is their chance to share their experience and knowledge with the Villanova community and win a cash prize.

  • Deadline, 4/15
  • $2,500 cash prize

Contact Leisel Schwarz with your script before filming.

Open to ALL Villanova students from any college, grad or undergrad.  Student Clubs are also encouraged to apply.

Create a 1~2 minute video/public service announcement to spread tips/awareness relating to the challenge topic.

Form teams of 2-5 people and collectively decide the topic of your video.  Develop a script and the best ways to communicate your message.  Film your video, no longer than 2 minutes, and submit it on the IIE website.

Being a part of community calls us to suspend the assumption that all have learned concepts we consider foundational.  Share what you know without judgement so that our community can actively engage in our collective knowledge.
