The Office of Disability Services (ODS) assists students with physical disabilities, neurologically based disorders which trigger a physical response, students disabled by a chronic illness and have physical complications due to that illness, or a temporary injury that require physical or academic accommodations.

The librarians can assist with all of your academic and research needs. Meet with a research consultant, view one of the research, subject, or how-to guides. Many electronic subscription resources, including books, videos, full text and bibliographic databases, and data sources, can be accessed remotely from off-campus by Villanova students faculty and staff via a proxy system to authenticate your Villanova credentials.

The Office of Health Promotion is committed to providing a premiere resource and referral hub for information on topics stretching the six dimensions of health – social, physical, intellectual, cultural, emotional, and spiritual. Professional staff members are qualified to consult with students on the latest information on college health issues and develop programs and educational opportunities for students, while peer educators are trained to provide peer-to-peer programs on alcohol and other drugs, sexual assault, sexual health, nutrition, and fitness.

Learning Support Services (LSS) offers a variety of academic support services that are designed to help all Villanova students maximize their academic success. They assist students in obtaining the academic accommodations necessary for documented learning disabilities. One-on-one academic coaching sessions are available to all students who want to enhance their academic skills. They also provide study tools, videos, and workshops.
Student printing is organized by UNIT. To discourage waste and to offset some of the cost of printing, students are given an allotment of free printing each semester and charged for printing. Printing on the GO Print system is available in the following locations: Mendel 85, Tolentine 2 & 4, Falvey Library, Nursing LRC, and Bartley Print Center. vPrint is the new printing system for students that provides convenient ways to upload and print documents of various formats. The Office of Intramurals and Recreation at Villanova University is committed to providing the Villanova Community with a wide variety of recreational services and programs that promote lifelong health and fitness. The Recreation Office aims to enhance the Villanova experience by fostering an environment that encourages diverse groups of students to unite for a common purpose. Programs are viewed as healthy avenues for developing the total individual: intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, culturally, socially and physically. Tutoring Services Website Villanova offers a variety of tutoring options for students across all colleges. The Writing Center assists students during any stage of the writing process. The Learners’ Studio offers subject-specific tutoring in over 100 courses from across the academic colleges. The Center for Speaking and Presentation helps students develop skills needed for any public speaking engagement. The Math Learning and Resource Center focuses on math-related courses and content. Sessions are offered in various formats and can be in person or online, individual or in a small group setting.

The Office of Financial Assistance helps students their families through the financial aid application process. Students matriculated in the College of Professional Studies program may be eligible for federal and state assistance as a means of financing their undergraduate degree. Students may be eligible for financial aid if they are matriculated in an undergraduate degree-seeking program, maintain at least 6 credits per semester, and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. It is recommended that new students apply for financial assistance at least two months prior to starting their program so that aid is in place at the start of the semester. Returning students need to re-apply for aid by April 30.

Each academic year, students must register their vehicles through the Parking Portal on MyNova. Parking is assigned by lot and a coordinating permit will be issued – some lots require physical tags and others utilize License Plate Reader. Any changes such as a new vehicle or work location can be made on the Parking Portal or by contacting the Parking Office. Parking fees are automatically applied to the student’s account.

The Public Safety Department is responsible for providing a safe, secure living, learning environment for the Villanova University community. Operating 24/7/365, the Department is the University’s first responders to emergency situations, including police, medical, and fire calls. The Department oversees and dispatches the University’s in-house EMS service, VEMS. Sign up for NovaAlert, Villanova’s mass notification system, and download the NovaSafe App, an interactive communications system with the Department of Public Safety.
