FATHER ANSWERS QUESTIONS
Welcome, friends.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and get to know so many of you—students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and donors alike.
Whether we’ve met during office hours, after Masses, during University events, or while traveling around campus and to gatherings elsewhere—these spontaneous and candid conversations are one of the things I love most about our community.
During these shared moments together, I’ve noticed a common theme: a deep care for the continuation of Villanova’s legacy. And that is a very Villanovan trait, seeing as we’re all on the continuous journey to seek truth and meaning. Villanovans are full of questions, eager to learn and understand.
Those I meet want to know what’s happening on campus, and what is coming next for our community. They want to know that as we move forward with our ambitious plans for the future, we remain rooted in the Augustinian Catholic values that form our unshakable foundation.
I’m thankful to have had such insightful conversations with many of you—opportunities to affirm the values that are our most unique attribute and also our greatest strength. I haven’t been able to speak to all of you personally, but today, I’d like to offer the next best thing.
Below this message, we’ve lifted up some of the most frequently asked questions that have come up in real conversations with you all, and now, I have the chance to share my responses for every Villanovan to read.
Our Augustinian Catholic values are central to who we are as a community. They permeate every aspect of University life, and I hope these messages can deepen your understanding and appreciation of the vibrancy of our mission.
