AS YOU LOOK AHEAD TO THE FUTURE, WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT FOR VILLANOVA?

I am most excited for us as a community to come together and embark on the next phase of our journey to become what we are not yet. Over the years, we’ve remained steadfast—rooted in our history and heritage, staying true to who we are. These traditions and values are amongst some of the most beloved parts of this campus and community. And now, we’ve surpassed our previous goals, and it’s time to reset the bar and reach even higher.

It’s an exciting time to be a Villanovan, and I am filled with a deep gratitude and enthusiasm for what comes next for us all.

As we head confidently into the future, we can look to and count on our University’s plan to guide us on the path to becoming our highest selves. Over the course of the next five years, we will raise funds that make a Villanova education accessible to students from different socioeconomic and geographical backgrounds, with the goal of closing the demonstrated financial need gap for undergraduate students. 

We will grow our research opportunities and offerings for students and faculty alike, strengthening the impact, scale and reach of the innovative work we do for the common good. We will update and expand our campus and facilities in new ways to support academic rigor and student success, with all of those plans centered on enhancing our community.

Together, these goals and so much more are possible and practical to achieve in our future—and what a wonderful feeling it is to be part of a place that can make a powerful impact like this.
