Villanovans help Villanovans. It’s part of what community means for us. We open the door for each other, as much literally as we do figuratively.

Our community is synonymous with support and opportunity, and Villanovans can be counted on to show up for one another. We are committed to making an education like ours accessible to all those who are called to it, to giving students and faculty the chance to conduct innovative research, to ensuring that the caliber of our facilities complements the brilliant minds of our students. Our restless hearts may never be quiet, and our minds may never be still, but our arms are always extended, reaching to become the highest version of ourselves—which is part of what makes Villanova such a special place to be.

Community at Villanova is tables of students studying on the second floor of Falvey Library. Or sharing the stage while step dancing. Or returning to campus to attend Sunday Mass during Reunion. Or seeing a “V” pin on a nurse’s scrubs as a wave of comfort engulfs you, knowing that you’re in good hands.

Here, community isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something that we strive for, so that all can experience a deep sense of belonging. We know we do not always do this perfectly, but our pursuit of the goal of true community is a force that flickers and drives us. We want all to feel the essence of the Villanova community that is so fundamental to who we are—one that is palpable from the second you step foot on campus, and that stays with you for a lifetime.
