VILLANOVA ENTREPRENEURS CAPITAL CLUB

The Villanova Entrepreneurs’ Capital Club (“Capital Club”) is dedicated to supporting the work of Villanova’s entrepreneurs (faculty, students, staff, alumnae and alumni) by investing all forms of capital in their efforts: education, advisory, mentoring, and financial.

Our profound conviction is that the transformative, visionary work nurtured at Villanova University in engineering, business, the arts and sciences, nursing and law should be constructively evaluated and supported in a manner that will allow this innovative work to emerge from its academic roots for the benefit of society, for the benefit of its creators and for the benefit of Villanova consistent with its Augustinian and Catholic tradition.

Presently, the vision for the Capital Club includes the following activities to engage interested constituents in the ICE ecosystem:

• Advancing Ideas and Villanova-Related Entrepreneurs:
  
  • Supporting and advocating for innovators, inventors, and startups throughout their entrepreneurial journeys.
  • Identifying channels to investment opportunities in early stage companies by accredited investors, groups, or funds.
• Conducting Technology/Innovation Evaluations and Reviews:
  
  • Assisting the deans/administration in determining the commercial potential of faculty and staff innovations, and providing further assistance when such potential is found to exist.
