CBE hosts the inaugural annual meeting of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, USA (CBA)
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering within Villanova University’s College of Engineering was proud to host the inaugural annual meeting of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, USA (CBA).
Held in October at the Connelly Center on campus, the conference had over 350 attendees and included a keynote address from Michele Marcolongo, PhD, PE, the Drosdick Endowed Dean of the College of Engineering. The event featured numerous speakers and poster presentations, including one delivered by William Kelly, PhD, professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering and director of Villanova’s Center for Cellular Engineering (NovaCell).
Zuyi (Jacky) Huang, PhD, associate professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering, is a co-founder of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of CBA, which is one of the largest Chinese nonprofit professional associations in the United States.
