2023 Order of the Engineer Ring Ceremony, 05/01

Villanova University College of Engineering has invited its graduating seniors and graduate engineers to accept the Obligation of the Engineer in a Ring Ceremony. With this ring, to be worn on the pinky finger of the working hand, students enter their professional careers embodying the Caritas expected of our Villanova community. More than 100 students are expected to be inducted at this year’s event, which will be held at 6 p.m. May 1 in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center.

The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer.
