Faculty Conference on Teaching Excellence at Temple University
23rd Annual Faculty Conference on Teaching Excellence, Temple University, January 8-9, 2025
This regional conference on issues pertaining to learning-centered teaching in higher education provides a great forum to enrich your teaching practices and exchange ideas with colleagues; the event has been well received by Villanova faculty who attended in the past. The sessions are practice-based, research-supported and provide first-rate ideas for enriching the teaching and learning process.
The in-person conference will explore new and tried-and-true approaches to sustaining student engagement in today’s evolving educational landscape. Focus areas: (1) Application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and integrative course design with Dr. Thomas Tobin; and (2) Effective use of A.I. tools in teaching with Dr. José Antonio Bowen.
