Villanova University Fitzpatrick College of Nursing

Join experts from across the country for a 3-day, intensive course on randomized controlled trials (RCTs) emphasizing research design, execution, FDA/ICH Good Clinical Practice Standards, and the role of clinical trials in informing clinical practice and creating treatment guidelines.

Institute Information

Registration: Available January 2020

This three-day immersion experience is built for the novice to mid-career Simulation educator or faculty. During the Institute, participants will:

  • apply the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) Standards of Best Practice: Simulation℠ as evidence-based guidelines for all educational activities
  • learn to incorporate simulation into programs to advance education and learning to improve patient outcomes

Learn more about our MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and  Education. The Center is to serve as a model for education and research that promotes healthy weight management and the prevention and reduction of obesity-related diseases across the lifecycle.
