Four Villanova Law Students Named 2019 ACCGP Diversity Corporate Summer Interns

Four Villanova Law students have been named 2019 Diversity Corporate Summer Interns by The Association of Corporate Counsel Greater Philadelphia (ACCGP). The Diversity Corporate Summer Internship Program, which aims to increase diversity within corporate legal departments in the Delaware Valley and provide law students with an opportunity to experience in-house practice and examine alternative legal careers, is open to law students who are members of minority groups, specifically based on race, ethnicity, religion, or LGBTQ status, who are traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession.

The Villanova Law students selected for the 2019 Diversity Corporate Summer Internship Program are Rizzlyn Melo ’20, interning with PJM Interconnection; Sally Amezquita ’21 interning with Bentley Systems; Anastasia Bowes ’21, interning with Vertical Screen and Meline Derderian ’21, interning with QVC.

Villanova Law is one of two Greater Philadelphia law schools to have four students selected for the program. Interns are compensated at least $7,500 for completion of the eight-week program.

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter is a leading chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACCGPA), the world's largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations and other private-sector organizations. ACC Greater Philadelphia has over 1,400 members who practice as lawyers in more than 400 organizations, most of whom live and work in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
