To ensure success in an ever-changing legal employment marketplace, students need individualized attention.
Our team of experienced attorney-advisers partner with students and alumni to help you identify and achieve your career goals, whether you want to practice at a law firm, work for a nonprofit, pursue a government position, or climb the corporate ladder. We provide career planning education and recruitment programs, as well as individual counseling, that serve as the foundation for your professional development. Our team is here to guide you from job search, to interview preparation, to securing your dream job.
Individual career advising with one of our attorney-advisers can range from initial education about the legal profession, to guidance during career self-assessment and job changes throughout your career. In addition, our professional advisers can help you identify your strongest skills and personal values, as well as areas for continued professional development.
Fully integrated into the Professional Development curriculum, the Office of Career Strategy and Advancement offers a number of programs on career education. Programming includes practice area roundtables, job search, clerkship and fellowship education, mock interviews, employer fairs and networking events, and resume and cover letter workshops.
Employers know the value Villanova Law students can bring to their organizations. The Office of Career Strategy and Advancement proactively works with employers to cultivate job opportunities and connect them to Villanova Law talent. In addition to hosting on-campus interviews, we host a job board and career fairs.
