Engaging Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation in the Search for Justice
Thursday April 5 - Friday April 6, 2018
The Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation leads cross-disciplinary workshops and discussions aimed at engaging the survivor community in the search for justice on April 5 and 6, 2018. Workshops will be led by survivors and will encourage participants to engage in problem-solving scenarios on a variety of relevant topics and current issues in legislation, law enforcement and education.
The event takes place on Thursday, April 5 from 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. and Friday, April 6 from 9 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. at The Inn at Villanova University (610 County Line Road, Radnor, PA). It is open to the Villanova Community and the public and is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 9 sustainable credits. NASW-PA has approved the workshop for 9 CEU credits* and the event is approved by MPOETC for 9 CLEE credits.
A reception and awards ceremony will follow the event on Thursday, April 5 in the Arthur M. Goldberg '66 Commons at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law (299 North Spring Mill Road, Villanova, PA).
