Engaging the Survivor Community in Advocacy, Healing and Criminal Justice

March 9 - 10, 2017

 

The Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation leads cross-disciplinary workshops and discussions aimed at engaging the survivor community in advocacy on Mar. 9-10. Workshops will be led by survivors and will encourage participants to engage in problem-solving scenarios on a variety of relevant topics and current issues in legislation, law enforcement and education.

The event takes place on Thursday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Friday, March 10 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Blank Rome LLP Classroom (Rm 102) at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. It is open to the Villanova community and the public and is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 9.5 sustainable credits and 1 Ethics credit.
