Villanova University M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing has an affiliation agreement with Saint Joseph's University, University of the Sciences and Ursinus College through which a minimum of five students and/or graduates, who have satisfied all the admission requirements, will be accepted in to the Second Degree Accelerated BSN Track (BSNExpress).
The BSNExpress is a 14-month second degree track that incorporates all the standard components of the nursing program in a concentrated timeframe. The baccalaureate degree in nursing program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, D.C. 20001, 202-887-6791.
This agreement provides for acceptance of a minimum of five students or graduates annually and increases the breadth of opportunities for those students to continue their education in the health professions. The students and graduates must meet all the criteria set forth in the agreement.
If you are an interested student, please contact your current academic advisor for more information or return to the BSNExpress homepage to learn more about the track.
Prospective students from St. Joseph’s, Ursinus and University of the Sciences are invited to attend a special Affiliates’ Day open house events held throughout the year. During the evening, interested students will learn more about the track directly from our director, current students and alumni; tour our technology driven labs and discuss Financial Assistance opportunities.
By attending Affiliates’ Day, attendees will receive an application fee waiver code.
