Students can also choose to apply into one of our programs after taking classes as a non-matriculated student.

To apply, students must submit the non-matriculated application as well as official transcripts from the undergraduate institution.

FUNDING

Villanova’s graduate school tuition is very competitive, and there are a number of ways to finance your master's degree in Human Resource Development. All of the classes, both on-campus and online, are held in the evenings, permitting you to work while in the program whether you are studying part-time or full-time. Your employer may offer tuition assistance benefits!

Graduate Assistantships

The program offers a number of Graduate Assistantships, which cover tuition plus a stipend. To be considered for these funding sources, you should apply for admission in the fall semester. Applicants for spring admission cannot be considered for these awards.

These assistantships require 20 hours of work for the HRD program per week. Graduate assistants are ambassadors of the HRD program and work with the office on research projects, program initiatives and events.

If you are interested in applying for a graduate assistantship, you must submit your application by March 1. Candidates will be contacted for interviews.

To apply to be a graduate assistant please submit the Application for Graduate Assistantship/Fellowship. Submit this application to: gradhrdoffice@villanova.edu by March 1.

Scholarship Opportunity

Villanova’s Graduate HRD Program is offering a $1,000 scholarship for new students starting Fall 2025. Awards are based on financial need and academic merit. To qualify, apply to the MS in HRD by August 5 and enroll in Fall I. Students receiving other Villanova tuition aid or assistantships are not eligible.

Other Campus Funding

There are also assistantships offered by other Villanova departments and offices. If you apply for other University assistantships, you will still be considered for internal department funding.
