Faculty Write-In Days

Spring 2024

Join faculty from across disciplines for a day or half-day of scheduled writing. Writing alongside others socializes what can otherwise often be an isolating endeavor. Writing independently in a room of other faculty provides a sense of community around the challenge for academics to accomplish our writing and publication goals during the busy semester.

Each write-in day will begin with sharing goals and reflections on the writing process. We will then have a large block of time for independent writing, a break to share a lunch, time for more independent writing, and a concluding discussion about writing tips and strategies. 

All Villanova faculty are invited to join for a portion of the day or the entire day. VIRS will provide coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day and lunch at noon.
