Noël Falco Dolan, EdD, ’90 CLAS
Noël Falco Dolan, EdD, ’90 CLAS is The Rocco and Gloria Barbieri Assistant Director of the Augustine and Culture Seminar. She received her undergraduate degree in English and Honors from Villanova University, her MA in English from Temple University and her EdD in Higher Education from Immaculata University.
Dr. Dolan’s teaching expertise is in late 19th century/early 20th century British and American Literature, poetry and art. She is passionate about strategies that increase student engagement—including using digital humanities teaching methods, which engage students in the material in a new and innovative manner.
Dr. Dolan received the Villanova University Faculty Award for Innovation in Teaching in 2017 and the P.E.O. Scholar Award in 2020. She has been teaching in the Augustine Culture Seminar for more than 20 years, impacting generations of students, and she also enjoys teaching about St. Augustine and Augustinian spirituality through Villanova Summer Abroad.
