"ENGINEERING IS FOR GIRLS!" DAY

Become an engineer for the day!

Learn what engineers do to make the world a better place in this hands-on workshop led by Villanova Mechanical Engineering faculty and students. Participants in grades 4-8 will circulate through three different hands-on activities, which may include topics such as building solar racecars, designing artificial legs, and looking at nanoscale phenomena. The program is intended to introduce engineering as a career field to students, including young women who have traditionally been underrepresented in the field. The program is open to students of all genders.
