Welcome to the Summer 2019 Newsletter! I hope everyone has an opportunity to relax, enjoy some time off, and catch up with family and friends.
This edition recaps the Spring 2019 events the VWPN sponsored and those we partnered in offering with The Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women’s Leadership as well as provides you with information on our upcoming events for Fall 2019. Our three columns highlighting individuals draws on women involved with our Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) programs here at Villanova. These include:
- Our column highlighting faculty features Alicia Strandberg, PhD, Associate Professor, Management & Operations.
- A new column recognizing a current Villanova School of Business student. Our inaugural student is Tanya Coutray, who is a student in our MSA program. She is Senior Director of Technology, Data, and Analytics at Walmart.
- Our column highlighting Villanova School of Business alumni features Linh Tran, who is a recent graduate of our MSF program.
