Ask Me Anything (AMA) Series
An Ask Me Anything (AMA) session is your chance to hear directly from Villanova graduate students. Each AMA will have a virtual Q&A via Zoom with current students around topics such as graduate student life at Villanova, housing options, funding opportunities and more! All attendees will receive an application fee waiver code for Graduate Arts & Sciences graduate programs. Staff will be on hand to facilitate discussion. Stay tuned for more information!

The Accuracy of Self-Reflection: Emily Pintarelli ’23 CLAS, ’24 MS Earns Outstanding Thesis Award
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences recognized Emily Pintarelli's work on self-reports in personality assessment. Her thesis, titled “Self-Other Knowledge Asymmetry for Autonomous Self-Direction and the Capacity for Intimacy,” earned her the 2025 Ingeborg L. and O. Byron Ward Outstanding Thesis Award.

By numbers alone, the “Aaron Bauer Pipeline” speaks for itself. Since 2000, a little more than a decade after he began teaching at Villanova, 50 master’s students have come through his research lab, and Dr. Bauer estimates 40 of them have gone on to obtain PhDs and remain in herpetology.
