WELCOME TO VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY

What makes Villanova so easy to get to, but so hard to leave? We invite you to visit our suburban 260-acre campus located in the heart of the historic Main Line. We are minutes from Philadelphia, the nation's sixth largest city, and a short trip from New York City and Washington D.C. 

Located near the intersection of two interstate highways, I-76 and I-476, Villanova is easy to access. There are three train stops on campus that offer convenient transportation to almost anywhere on the East Coast, including nearby Philadelphia International Airport.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

By Air
Visitors should fly into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), which is located approximately 20 miles from the Villanova campus. Rail service, taxi, ride share, shuttle and car rental services are all available from the airport.

By Train
Take SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line to Villanova Station - located directly on campus.

By Trolley
SEPTA's Norristown High Speed Line travels between Norristown and 69th Street Terminal. You may get on or off the trolley at the Villanova Station or Stadium Station.

 

DRIVING TO CAMPUS

Villanova's campus is located near the intersection of two major interstate highways, I-76 and I-476, and is easily accessible by car from throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

From New York and New England

Take the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike / I-276). Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276) to Exit 20 (I-476 South/Chester). Follow I-476 South to Exit 13 (Villanova/St. Davids). 

At the bottom of ramp turn right and proceed east on Lancaster Avenue (US-30) for just under a half mile to St. Thomas Way and turn right for parking.

From the South

Take I-95 North toward Philadelphia/New York to Exit 7 (I-476 North/Plymouth Meeting). Follow I-476 North to Exit 13 (Villanova/St. Davids).

At the bottom of ramp turn right and proceed east on Lancaster Avenue (US-30) for just under a half mile to St. Thomas Way and turn right for parking.

From the West

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Follow sign to I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) and take to Exit 331A (I-476 South/Chester). Follow I-476 South to Exit 13 (Villanova/St. Davids). 

At the bottom of ramp turn right and proceed east on Lancaster Avenue (US-30) for just under a half mile to St. Thomas Way and turn right for parking.

From Philadelphia Int'l Airport

Follow signs from the airport to I-95 South (toward Delaware). Take Exit 7 (I-476 North/Plymouth Meeting) and follow I-476 North to Exit 13 (Villanova/St. Davids).

At the bottom of ramp turn right and proceed east on Lancaster Avenue (US-30) for just under a half mile to St. Thomas Way and turn right for parking.

VISITOR PARKING

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION VISITORS

All Undergraduate Admission visitors need to register in advance for their visit and will obtain a permit for complementary parking during their visit.

OTHER VISITORS

All other weekday visitors to campus (including those to Undergraduate Admission who have not registered in advance for a visit or who have not printed their parking pass) may park in the Ithan Garage I-1 for a nominal fee:

  • 0-1 Hours: Free
  • 1-2 Hours: $2.00
  • 2-4 Hours: $5.00
  • 4-6 Hours: $7.00
