The College of Liberal Arts and sciences recommend students follow the minimum computer requirements as outlined below.

Microsoft Office	This is available for free by using your MyNova user id and password at the following link or use vDesktop
HardDrive	512GB or higher
Wifi	Required
Processor RAM	M3 or higher 16GB or higher
Onboard USB Ports	Required

Both Mac and PC platforms are acceptable operating systems for academic use in the College.

Each student is required to have a local installed copy of Office which is available for free .

vDesktop is a virtual Windows desktop that provides students online access to many applications (Office, SPSS, etc...).

Q: What computer system or platform do I need to access vDesktop?

A: Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, iOS, Android and many other devices can access vDesktop.
