Villanova currently administers a wide array of year-long and semester programs in locations worldwide. Some programs are interdisciplinary, open to all students and offer direct enrollment opportunities at overseas universities and/or language immersion. Other opportunities are more thematic and offer structured course options designed for specific majors or specialty cohorts.
Villanova Seminars Abroad are short term overseas study opportunities in which students complete an intensive course over a 2-3 week period abroad. Villanova Seminars are faculty led and explore locations and topics that are relevant to various majors and interests
The OEA also helps coordinate additional programs that are only available to certain majors. Participants in these programs must work with their major/college advisor as well as an advisor from the OEA to plan their summer abroad.
The Villanova Sumer Programs are offered throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. Programs run from 6-10 weeks over the summer months. Villanova Summer Programs are directed by Villanova University Faculty Program Coordinators (FPC) from all academic disciplines and departments.
