Education & Training Requirements

The Villanova University community takes a strong interest in how our society cares for children and the most vulnerable among us. We strongly encourage all members of the University community to learn about the signs of child abuse and neglect and what can and should be done to stop it.

For Villanova University employees and others participating in a Villanova University youth program, the following TWO education and training requirements are mandatory.

Training #1:  Working with Minors: Youth Protection Training

VU employees can access the training in the Learn@Nova platform via MyNova at https://mynova.villanova.edu/ and search for Bridge. The course is titled Working with Minors Youth Protection Training.

Non-VU adults participating in a youth program or activity, including sports camps will be able to access the training in the Learn@Nova platform.  Program Directors who have Non-VU adults participating in their program will need to request access to the Learn@Nova system by contacting either Beth Wright or Donna Poupard.
