Each year several awards are given to faculty members who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to the University. The awards are:
Teaching Award - The Teaching Award allows individuals to be nominated for Outstanding Faculty Mentor Teaching Award, Faculty Award for Innovative Teaching Award, Pohlhaus-Stracciolini Award for Teaching Excellence, or the Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Staff Awards: Facultas Award - The Facultas Award is presented once each year (in December) by the Faculty Congress, on behalf of the faculty as a whole. The award should go to staff from a variety of areas to recognize their diverse contributions to the university community.
