PHOEBE WORKSHOP
PHOEBE, which stands for PHysics Of Eclipsing BinareEs, is an open-source code for modeling binary and multiple star systems. At the PHOEBE workshops, participants learn how to apply the PHOEBE code to model binary star systems and extract fundamental stellar parameters.
The sixth Phoebe Workshop at Villanova University will be devoted to advanced PHOEBE users to support them in their quest for binary star models worthy of publication. The workshop will focus on advanced topics and follow a hack-week format (using PHOEBE for real science use-cases alongside implementing new features).
The Sixth PHOEBE Workshop is made possible through the generous support of Villanova University and the University of Ljubljana.
