A certificate in Thermofluid Systems will be awarded upon successful completion of any four of the following courses:
ME 70002 - Advanced Engineering Analysis
ME 7002 - Continuum Mechanics
ME 7030 - Num Methods for Eng Simulation
ME 7038 - Intro-Computational Fluid Mech
ME 7103 - Advanced Engrg Thermodynamics
ME 7130 - HVAC Analysis and Design
ME 7600 - Thermal Mgmnt of Electronics
ME 7700 - Tran Phen in Bio Systems
ME 8103 - Advanced Fluid Mechanics
ME 8120 - Convection Heat Transfer
ME 8150 - Multiphase Flow & Heat Trans.
ME 8250 - Microscale Heat Transfer
EGR 7800 - Solar Therm. Energy Conversion
1These courses will be accepted only if the selected topics are appropriate for the certificate, as determined by the graduate committee chair.
2While ME 7000 may be used toward these certificate programs, it cannot be counted toward two different ME certificates.
