At the end of my first year in the PhD program at Villanova, I have a sense of deep knowing that I am in the right place. I am grateful for the continual support and encouragement offered by my classmates-friends and professor-guides as I move through the knowledge gains and challenges of doctoral study.

I chose Villanova because it is one of the few PHD programs that prepare graduates to be scholars and effective nurse educators. The faculty supported me in writing a dissertation exploring master teachers in nursing.  The curriculum and mentoring by the master teachers at Villanova also ensured that I was well prepared to pass the certified nurse educator exam"

I thoroughly enjoyed my PhD journey at Villanova University M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing. I called this journey as “The journey of personal and professional growth”, where I identified my strengths and expanded them to learn new inquiry, knowledge, and skills.

The faculty at VU College of Nursing are experts and are known by their scholarly contributions on academia and nursing practice. They provided to me constructive honest feedback to expand my knowledge and to prepare me as a nurse scientist. Additionally, there was a constant support to build my research ability, involve in research activities, and present scientific papers at International Nursing Conferences. Surely, I accomplished my goals and objectives. At Villanova University, I felt like home.
