The Faculty Congress is active in many aspects of our Villanova community, focused on matters of interest and importance to faculty, but extending well beyond. This page lists a variety of Faculty Congress activities and accomplishments during the recent past.

• Universal Lecture Capture Letter from FCEC to the Provost (December, 2022) 

2020-2022

• Advocacy on behalf of faculty during COVID pandemic

2018-2020

• Establishment of Research Policy Committee
• Participation in hiring and approving a University-level Faculty Ombudsperson position

2016-2018

• Support of Villanovans Against Sweatshops (resolution)
• Partial funding support provided to help establish Faculty-Staff Choir
• Support of University Staff Council's family leave policy proposal
