SCI PHOENIX ALUMNI CAREER & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES

The Villanova Program at the State Correctional Institution – Phoenix (SCI Phoenix) is one of the oldest continuously running degree-granting prison education programs in the United States. Incarcerated individuals who apply and are accepted into the program are offered the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. Upon graduation, SCI Phoenix Program students become Villanova alumni.

Villanova alumni of the SCI Phoenix program are provided customized career service offerings that support the unique employment needs of previously incarcerated individuals returning to the workforce. Rooted in the Augustinian values of the university, career and professional development services for SCI Phoenix alumni deliver programming to encourage community unity with an emphasis on social justice to drive a reduction in overall recidivism.
