The Office of the Registrar participates in the graduation process by tracking which students intend to graduate, ordering their diplomas, and preparing the commencement program. To ensure accuracy of this information and to declare how you would like your name to appear, undergraduate students should complete a Prospective Graduate Form for Full-Time Undergraduate Students. Graduate-level students should instead complete an Application for Granting Master’s Degree, available from the appropriate academic department. Part-time students should submit Prospective Graduate cards to the Part-Time Studies Office.
Students who graduate upon completion of the Summer or Fall semesters will receive degrees dated September 1st or December 31st. These students are invited to participate in the following May's commencement ceremony, and their names will appear as September & December Graduates in the commencement program.
Diplomas are given to students as part of the May commencement ceremony. Summer graduates, Fall graduates, and those who choose not to attend commencement may either pick up diplomas in person at the Office of the Registrar (203 Tolentine Hall) or have them mailed. Students must meet all financial obligations before their diploma can be released.
The diploma size is 16"W x 12"H.
