Monday Morning Mentor: Week of 11/18-11/24
How to Teach Transferable Skills for Career Readiness

Employers stress that recent graduates require more functional skills to thrive in the workplace. Students need to effectively use skills in communication, teamwork, and critical thinking, among others. This program redefines “soft skills” as task-specific abilities with distinctive disciplinary and cultural dimensions and guides faculty on how to seamlessly integrate these skills into their courses.
