Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is a speaker series designed for young adults to meet others and explore topics of faith in a relaxed, social environment. This year topics will explore the importance of the dignity of all persons. Issues including work, religious difference, work, poverty, and the environment will be presented by Villanova faculty and staff. Participants are encouraged to consider and respond to brief talks through Q&A and table conversations. Free food is always served.

Get Real

Get Real

Get Real: Faith Sharing Communities are an open, inviting space to come together with other students in or near your residence hall looking to connect on a deeper level. The Campus Ministry Interns and Peer Ministers will facilitate these weekly gatherings.

Sports & Spirituality

Villanova Men's Basketball

In the spirit of Villanova’s motto, "veritas, unitas, caritas," the Sports & Spirituality program seeks to provide opportunities for all student-athletes, regardless of faith or spiritual tradition, to connect with themselves and their teammates through the lenses of play, sports, and competition. Reflections, retreats, and other opportunities invite student-athletes to enrich their spiritual lives through personal prayer and reflection, conversation and sharing with teammates, and exploring their love for sports. Contact David Walsh for more information.

Oasis LGBTQ Outreach

Oasis LGBTQ Outreach

Oasis is a confidential, small group opportunity where a safe zone is established to engage in an open dialogue about the issues relevant to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or questioning individuals. Participants share their experiences and connect with one another on their journey.

Oasis is open to all students trying to understand issues of sexual orientation or gender identity and offers relief from isolation and an opportunity to find true friendship, and the authentic Augustinian community that results from a common dedication to the truth and a shared vision of the dignity of the human person.

Oasis meets regularly in the evening throughout the semester. For further information contact Father Joe Calderone at [610] 519–7477. We will discreetly respond to all earnest calls with the location and time of our next meeting.

Students can also find resources within Student Life through VU Pride and Safe Zone.
