FACULTY WRITING COOPERATIVE

The Faculty Writing Cooperative is a peer-led writing accountability group designed to be maximally flexible to suit faculty's diverse schedules.

Why join?

Writing often takes a back seat to other faculty responsibilities (teaching, administration, mentorship, etc.). A structured writing program rooted in the concepts of frequency, duration, and intensity promises the best outcomes for writing goals.

How does it work?

  1. Complete the interest form to receive access to the Cooperative's Teams site, where you can review the orientation materials, and complete the goals worksheet.
  2. Writing blocks are available Monday through Friday.
  3. New participants sign up for at least two sessions as a participant before becoming facilitators.
  4. Returning participants sign up for at least three sessions, as either facilitators or participants.
