ACCREDITATION

The Villanova University Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia Program is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) until the next 10-year review cycle in 2031.

Graduates are eligible to take the National Certification Exam (NCE) administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Graduates who pass the NCE are designated as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Completed applications that were received by the close date of February 29, 2024 will be reviewed by the admission committee for the January 2026 Cohort. 

*There are instances when a seat becomes available in an earlier cohort.

*We do not accept applications for a future cohort from applicants who have been denied admission to a cohort.
