The Research Administration Offices at Villanova University provide service to faculty, staff and students while protecting the institution in sponsored programs and research compliance.
OFFICE OF RESEARCH PROTECTIONS
The Office of Research Protections partners with researchers to ensure that all Villanova scientific research involving human participants, vertebrate animals and biohazards is safe, ethically sound and compliant with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and University policies. It also offers guidance to researchers and oversees the review process related to financial conflicts of interest in research.
OFFICE OF GRANTS AND CONTRACTS
The Office of Grants and Contracts (OG&C) works with investigators in all aspects of research administration of sponsored research projects by: supporting the development and submission of complete and competitive proposals, negotiating and executing various types of research agreements, providing education for the Villanova community, and ensuring proper stewardship of sponsored research funds awarded to the University.
