Facilities Maintenance Services is comprised of specialized departments responsible for University maintenance, repair, grounds and special events.  Facilities Maintenance Services goal is to provide safe, reliable and professional work in order to facilitate the University's mission of providing a quality education.

We provide continuous, timely and efficient service with a minimum effort on the part of the customer. Each General Maintenance Mechanic (GMM) is assigned to designated zones, each zone consisting of several buildings. It is the responsibility of the GMM to report any safety violations such as blocked electrical panels, improperly stored materials, and frayed extension cords. If a repair falls outside of the GMM's function he will request that the appropriate FM Service Unit handle the repair.
