Requirements and Application Process
VIEW currently accepts students from the following Philadelphia High Schools:
- Academy At Palumbo High School
- Bishop McDevitt High School
- Bodine High School for International Affairs High School
- Central High School
- George Washington Carver High School of Engineering & Science
- Lankenau Environmental Magnet High School
- Northeast Magnet High School
- Philadelphia High School for Girls
- West Catholic Prep High School
Requirements
- Prospective applicants should:
- Maintain strong grades:
- Academics: A's and B's with an exception allowed of 1 C
- Conduct: All 1's and no more than 1 rating of 2
- Make a 3 year year commitment
- Have no excessive lateness or absences
- Be in the 9th grade
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Be willing to step outside the bubble to meet new people and experience new adventures
Application Process
Applications for 2018 will open October 1 - Midnight, October 31. If your application is accepted, you will be notified to come in for an interview on Nov. 3rd or Nov. 4th.
