Mission

The mission of Villanova University's Representation Matters Scholarship Committee is to provide needed scholarship funds to students who have demonstrated sustained achievement in academic, social and/or professional activities, and who exemplify or advance the representation of individuals from communities historically underrepresented in the University, and who exemplify the ideals and the true spirit of Villanova University through their strong academic performance and service.

Since its establishment in 2001, more than 30 scholarships have been awarded to some phenomenal and deserving students who distinguish themselves through excellence in and out of the classroom. In order to continue this important work, the scholarship committee solicits continued participation and sponsorship.

This scholarship is open to all eligible students without any preference or restriction based on race, ethnicity or sex.
