Villanova, Pa., February 10, 2021 – Villanova School of Business (VSB) is continuing its experiential learning program with the Barron’s in Education from Dow Jones to offer its students, faculty and staff digital subscriptions to Barron’s online content due to the generosity of Jacobi Wealth Advisors. Barron's is America's premier financial magazine and provides in-depth analysis and commentary on the markets, updated every business day online.

Barron’s has collaborated with Michael Hirthler, CIO Founder, Jacobi Capital Management, LLC and William F. Medico, III ’00 VSB, Co-Founder of Jacobi Wealth Advisors (JWA), to bring complimentary digital access to Barron’s and additional experiential learning opportunities to VSB.

“It is an honor to work with Barron’s in Education to provide our students, faculty and staff additional real-world insight into investment topics and global market trends,” said Joyce E. A. Russell, PhD, the Helen and William O’Toole Dean of VSB. “We cannot thank Jacobi Wealth Advisors enough for their financial support of this program. VSB is one of only 100 schools to have this unique access, so I encourage our community to take advantage of this extraordinary program.”

“As an alumnus of the Villanova Business School, I am excited to reconnect with the campus community and students at the school,” said William F. Medico, III ’00 VSB, Co-Founder of Jacobi Wealth Advisors. “The Barron’s program complements the students’ studies and educational experience as they engage in real-world financial discussions, connect with the business network around the Greater Philadelphia Area and take what they learn as they start their careers after graduation.”

Michael Hirthler, CIO Founder, Jacobi Capital Management, LLC added “After seeing the successful impact the Barron’s in Education program has had at the other schools we sponsor, William and I look forward to bringing this opportunity to the Villanova Business School. Jacobi Wealth Advisors is proud to sponsor the program and continue the pursuit towards stronger financial literacy and insights through the unique offerings that the Barron’s program provides.”

This program, supported by Barron’s and JWA aims to improve financial literacy and proficiency in universities across the nation, provides multiple benefits to students pursuing a career in business and faculty looking to make greater strides in their fields. Some of these benefits include:
